Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is another form of “safety glass” that consists of two or more layers of glass held together by an interlayer typically made of SentryGlas, PVB or EVA. This interlayer (which can be clear or coloured) keeps the layers of glass bonded when broken, preventing the glass from breaking into jagged shards, but rather a crackled pattern.

Laminated glass is a safer choice in areas that pose a security concern since the glass will remain intact, even when broken. This type of glass is especially prevalent in any area where safety is of the utmost concern. Laminated curved glass has the highest optical quality possible, due to the more controlled manufacturing process.
